2025 Belt & Road and BRICS Competition of Skills Development and Technology Innovation (Guangzhou, China) & BRICS Standards

1, On behalf of the organizing committee, we are honored to invite you to the 2025 Belt & Road and BRICS Competition of Skills Development and Technology Innovation
(Guangzhou, China), which will be held concurrently with the 11th International Invention Exhibition in Guangzhou, China, from August 22nd to 24th, 2025.

This premier event will convene global innovators under the theme of “Technological Innovation Driving New Industrial Development in BRICS” . Since its inception in 2017 under the BRICS Business Council, this competition has engaged 450,000+ participants across eight sessions, earning recognition in annual BRICS Leaders’ Summit Reports.

The Competition includes 10 tracks, covering key areas such as digital skills, intelligent manufacturing, and green technologies. We are now calling for project submissions from enterprises, research institutes, universities, vocational colleges, and industry associations from BRICS and “BRICS+” countries.

Please circulate with your powerful network and relevant resources, maybe overseas students already in China with projects are easiser to join. People and teams which are not currently in China are also welcome to participate onsite/online, thanks.

2, On behalf of the BRICS Standardization Committee for Skills and Technology, we are delighted to invite you and relevant experts to attend our upcoming Standards Review Meeting.

This meeting will review the final drafts of standards for the following projects:
* Industrial Design Technology
* Additive Manufacturing
* Augmented and Virtual Reality
* Robotic Process Automation
* Internet of Things
 
Your expertise is highly valued, and we believe your contributions will significantly enrich the discussions and outcomes of this meeting.

3, We have finalized 3 working draft documents on Digital Capabilities in Business Standards, covering Curriculum, Skills, and Competition, and we are now solicitating feedback. You are welcome to circulate this email and attached
file with the relevant experts and institutions. We would greatly appreciate it if your team could take some time to review the attached drafts and share any insights, comments, or suggestions by August 15, 2025.
Additionally, we plan to host an online meeting after that to discuss the drafts and the feedback received, the meeting details will be given later.
